Salsa dance company - specialising in New York style on2 ‘E wa jo’ means ‘let’s dance’ in Yoruba, a West-African language. At Ewajo we specialise in Bronx Style Mambo, a style of salsa developed in the Bronx, New York City. Once you master this style, you will become comfortable with fast footwork, spinning, and complex patterns. We teach weekly open classes to equip our students to conquer the social dance floor and the stage. We also run performance teams, the very heart of Ewajo. Training regularly with us will equip you with essential skills - spinning, stepping, keeping your frame - that are foundational for social dancing. Ewajo is directed by Dr John.
